Extension of Time Gap Between Two Consecutive Board Meetings

In view of the difficulties arising due to resurgence of COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has extended the time gap between the consecutive board meetings to 180 days.

As per Section 173 of Companies Act, 2013 the time gap between two board meetings which was previously 120 days stands extended by 60 days for the first two quarters of the Financial Year 2021-22 (i.e. April to June’21and July to September’21).
